Welcome to the website of Hoveton Community Council. Here you’ll find further information about the work of the Council and the services it provides, contact details for your local councillors, information about the parish of Hoveton, plus all the latest Council and community news. Whether you’re a resident of Hoveton or a nearby parish, a member of Hoveton’s workforce, a visitor to our village, or just an interested party, we hope you find this website useful and informative. And we look forward to welcoming you to a Hoveton Community Council meeting soon!

  • Queen Elizabeth II 1926 – 2022

Hoveton Parish Council is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our most dearly beloved monarch, Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. For all of our lives, Queen Elizabeth has led our country with devotion and dignity, and has earned our heartfelt respect and affection. She has given us her all, and for that we are tremendously grateful. Her close and personal connection to Norfolk has been a source of great pride, and we are honoured that our County has been graced so frequently with her presence. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, who we hope can take some small comfort in knowing her passing will leave an irremediable void in her loyal subjects’ lives.

A Book of Condolence has been opened at Hoveton Church.  There are Pages of Condolence to sign which will be sent from the Diocese after being bound into a book, so that our messages may go to the King.  If anyone wishes to lay a floral tribute, you may also place these at the church.

A Book of Condolence is also being held by North Norfolk District Council and residents can email their message directly to [email protected]
